Experiment thumbnail with chalk brush and color dynamic and fleshed out [the 1º one] with round brush 50 opacity.The 2º one is done only with the chalk+dynamic color and a bit of overexposure tool.

The first one is for the same school assignement

The second image is a fictional comission[personal] and it is not part of the same assignment.

School project

I started again to play with zbrush and to relearn the basic stuff.

This is how i start modelling a torso.using zspheres.

This last one took 25 minutes from start to finish[without the composicion in photoshop]

I also did some thumbanils experimenting with colors and b/w

And i also did this 1 hour speedpainting in Painter12.

Stuff

I'm still working on the last illustration while i'm working on  another illustration and 2 backgrounds.

These 2 backgrounds are WORK IN PROGRESS.

These are some thumbs for illustrations i wanted to develop for my school project.I started the 4ºone which i'll post later if i decide to keep working on it..

The last illustration is a Work-in-Progress of the illustration i'm working on now.I'll post it when i'll finish it.

School final project-Part two

After finding the character style more apealing to me and what i thought to be the final design i did  the turnaround but...after one week i realised i don't like it.

And redraw it..once.twice.For now i will stick with the third design in the second image.

The evil guy is the final design.

Some plants,and a tree..trying stuff maybe i should have tried more to call it concept art.

I recently started two illustrations based on this story.I will keep you updated the following days.

School final project

These are some preparatory sketches for my final project for school,concept art for an invented game influenced by Rayman style.

The story is about a boy called Rody who has been raised and lived with dragons until one day an evil boy petrified every dragon so he could steal their souls in order to maintain his magical dark powers.

Still don't have a title.

At this point i didn't had a solid idea of the direction i wanted to go so couple of pages with sketches,very different in style...

Be sure to check out my blog in the following days as i'm going to post more developed and interesting things.

I wanted to make Rody look heroic but still keep it childish.

After doing first the left half moved on the other half to develop the character the way i wanted..still wasn't satisfied..something was ..awkward..yeah..it was the squirrel face and then the hiperactive retard looking:))

Tomorrow i'll start posting art done for my school final project.More details later.
